1. Your Account

To use our Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. Content and Ownership

This section outlines the ownership rights related to content on our platform.

Our Intellectual Property

The Service itself, including its software, design, handwriting engine, and original content (excluding your documents), is the exclusive property of text2hand and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content and Your Rights

This section covers the Service software and the documents you put into it.

Your documents: You keep ownership of the text, files, and images you upload, and of the handwritten pages generated from them ("User Content"), as between you and text2hand.
License we need to run the Service: You grant us a limited license to process User Content so we can render previews, exports, and backups for your account.
Paid vs free use: A paid plan does not transfer ownership of our software or fonts to you. It lets you use locked fonts, papers, and export options while the plan is active, subject to these Terms.

You are responsible for User Content and must make sure it does not infringe anyone else's rights. Do not upload other people's private homework, letters, or records unless you have permission.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to create any content that is:

Unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.
Infringing on any third party's intellectual property rights.
Defamatory, obscene, or offensive.
Sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise not safe for work ("NSFW"), including but not limited to nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive imagery.

Do not use the handwriting tools to produce illegal documents, impersonate another person in a deceptive way, or generate material that is sexually explicit or otherwise not safe for work. Accounts that do so may be suspended or terminated without a standard refund.

You also agree not to misuse the Service by interfering with its normal operation or attempting to access it using a method other than through the interfaces and instructions we provide.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

We offer paid subscription plans that unlock extra handwriting fonts, papers, export formats, and downloads. Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless the checkout says otherwise. You may cancel renewal from your billing settings.

5. Refunds

Refunds, cancellations, billing errors, and payment disputes are governed by the Refund Policy. In short, a standard goodwill refund is available on a first purchase within 7 days if you generated or downloaded 10 or fewer handwritten pages. Duplicate charges and missing access after payment are reviewed even outside that window.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Handwritten output is a visual conversion of your text; it is not a guarantee that a teacher, bank, or other third party will accept the result. text2hand makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service. In no event shall text2hand be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any material changes. By continuing to use the Service after the changes become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.
